At Podar International School, digital learning goes far beyond computer literacy. From preschool onwards, children are introduced to coding through playful, age-appropriate activities, building the foundations of logical thinking and creativity. As they progress through the grades, the coding programme becomes more advanced - moving from block-based coding in early years to complex text-based programming, Artificial Intelligence, and app development in higher grades.
Key Highlights of Our Digital Learning Curriculum

Coding begins in Grade 1 with block-based programming and progresses to text-based coding in higher grades. This structured pathway sharpens logical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.

Among the first in India to embed 3D printing in the curriculum, Podar students design and print their own models, competing in inter- and intra-school events. This hands-on learning encourages critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork.

Using microcontrollers like Micro:bit and Arduino, students build devices powered by code. From sensors to motors, they learn how programming can solve practical, everyday challenges.

AI and Machine Learning are integrated into our programme, helping students explore voice assistants, chatbots, and image recognition while critically reflecting on ethics, responsibility, and real-world applications.

Students design user-friendly apps and websites with real-world purpose, combining technical skills with social responsibility.

We instil safe, respectful, and ethical use of technology. Students learn to protect their privacy, avoid online risks, and develop a positive digital footprint.
At Podar, digital learning is about equipping students with the skills to thrive in a future shaped by technology.
